Paul Joseph Thomas passed away on November 20, 2011 in Tucson, AZ. He was born August 27, 1955 in Tucson. He graduated from
Catalina High School in 1973, moved to Phoenix in 1986 where he became a professional Bass player and was inducted into the Blues Hall of Fame in 1999. Some bands he played with were the well known Hoodoo Kings, Jump Back Brothers and the Heymakers.
He was preceded in death by his Mother, Father and three Brothers. He is survived by his son Dylan Paul Thomas, and family Kim Barr and loving Fiancé Kimberly Allen, and also four sisters and two Brothers, and many friends.
Flowers can be sent to South Lawn Cemetery at 5401 South Park Ave., Tucson, AZ 85706 or in lieu of flowers, a memorial contribution can be made to: Dylan Thomas @ 225 E. Broadmore Dr., Tempe, AZ 85282.
The memorial Service will be on Wednesday, December 7th at 12:00 noon at South Lawn Cemetery in Tucson, AZ. A Musical Tribute Benefit is being held Sunday, December 11, 2011 at 3PM - 10 PM at the Blooze, 12014 N. 32nd St., Phoenix, AZ 85028.
He will be remembered for his gift of music, and for his kind and generous heart.
