Kathy Marr Slade

Kathleen Sue Slade (Marr) was a daughter, sister, aunt, wife, mother and grandmother. She was a band mom, a Wildcat and a friend to many. Born in Kankakee, IL on June 5, 1955, she graduated from Catalina HS ('73) and the UofA ('77).

She worked at Tanque Verde Elimentary in various roles for ever 20 years and impacted the lives of gereations of students.  Kathy died unexpectedly in her sleep on August 5, 2014 at her home in Tucson.

She is survived by her daughter, Jessica; her son and his wife, Toby and Becky and granddaughter, Elenor; her brothers, Jim and Jay (Karen); her mother, Audrey and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband, Toby and her father, Harlan.

Services will be Saturday, August 16, 2014 and 11:00 a.m. at St. Mark's Presbyterian. The family asks that donations of money or supplies be made to needy schools in her memory.  Arrangements by HEATHER MORTUARY.
